God rescues His people
Bring us together to Honor Him
The Lord Alone is God
Every Nation will see
as we witness His love for us
He is God now and forever
The Lord will prepare the way
God rescues us
as He promised
God of miracles
God of grace
and mercy everyday
Forget the past
Don't think about it
God is creating something new
He provides us
and makes us
His nation
SO WE
PRAISE
HIM
This poem was written studying Isaiah 43 back in the beginning of 2019. I wrote it in portuguese too to Wallace's grandmother Maria for her birthday present in May.
I have to add a little note , this poem was one of the last writings I read to my mother in the hospital before she passed away this year. It really was God talking to her His promise.
Losing my mom this time on earth , was an undescribible pain but I testified something new and very very big. My mom was not perfect like all of us as human, but she changed, she accepted Jesus in another level I ever saw her believing (or saying \acting so). Even with her illness (câncer) she kept worshipping and that just made her reach closer to God. She was different , She was a faithful servant.
And on her last days, all her children ( though we are all grown ups) got closer to each other and specially to God. As it says in the poem- bring us together to honor Him. and every nation will see. We got to see and testify the works that God made through my mom - even on her conditions she had happiness joy to be in God's house and serve Him.
At the funeral of my mom, The church was so full ,as full I ever saw, and during the 2 days it was full. Everyone paid their respects and so many people testified how faithful she was, we all criei together , as the poem says as we witness His love for us
My mom had saved the money for her funeral, although she was eligible to have it paid for by segurança social, and my sisters were trying to manage a way to come for the funeral and we all agreed to use that money of my mom to pay the tickets for all family to be together for that time. - The Lord will prepare the way.
He is a God of miracles, He uses people to care for His people, He uses anything to care for His people.
I will leave here the words of reflection I had with my sisters:
Hoje de madrugada tive um momentos de refleção de tudo o que aconteceu nestes dias intensos de velório e funeral. Eu sei que todos tavamos sofrendo muito mas não posso deixar de relatar e dar glória a Deus pelos imensos milagres sucedidos nestes dias assim como orações e desejos da mãe respondidos. Nunca na vida certas pessoas que compareceram iriam aceitar ou mesmo entrar numa igreja e muito menos ficar para ouvir a palavra e testemunho ,isso foi uma semente que ficou na vida delas e até mesmo para outras ouvir tal testemunho que acredito vai mudar para sempre a vida de muitos que viram e ouviram. E meninas, foi uma multidão de gente naquela igreja. Deus faz as coisas de uma maneira incrível. Sei que vocês notaram e muitas pessoas deram glórias por isso mas para mim só chegou agora. Nunca tinha visto o António sentar e ouvir o pastor, nem tão pouco a mãe rosa ou pai Fernando mesmo a porta eu sei que algo lá ficou. Etc entre outros acontecimentos incríveis para não falar de estarmos os 5 juntos. Deus actua em nós de maneiras diferentes porque somos todos diferentes.
