Mental Health

The hardest fight is ,when you fight yourself

Fight your own mentality in order to overcome slavery of this world and flesh.

I found easier to overcome these battles when I surround myself with sources that lead us out of it: Bible, people testimony using God's word, community's love and feeding my body with clean healthy food filled with nutrients.

My body has carried a lot, supporting me through all stages to now. I am thankful. Its easy to drift your mind to other's opinions, specially when comes from family. But is essential to extract yourself from that and recognize that God gave you that body that is carrying your spirit through all stages:

Depression, happiness, anxiety, excitement, it was your body that supported all that with you, therefore is so important to love, respect our body instead of getting influenced with opinions or judgments. Its also important to not over focus on ourselves - as Jesus says in Matthew 6:3-4 "But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."

All of us are different, and our choices will make an impact on our lives: body, mental and spiritually.

God has a purpose for everyone. A lot are called but few are chosen...depending on their faith, commitment, dedication, and choice to follow their purpose.

Although we are not taught, that to follow a purpose we must go and pass the test of trials. Yes, God want us to be successful but for that we must be ready for it, our soil must be good and fertile; our hearts must be pure and clean. If there is something on the way God will keep giving us that test to pass. So we can clean our hearts.

Is important to face our giants, because in Him all things are possible. We just need to use the weapons that God gives us: His word, Salvation, prayer and Holy Spirit - with faith and practice to action with it, He will gives us victory in anything we do for His glory.

Don't let the pain define you but instead use that pain to refine you.

James 1:2-4 "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything".

You are not meant to settle in the dark valley you will just go through it. Although is in the dark valley that seeds grow better and start to flourish when you start to reach the light.

Look after yourself, watch what you eat, drink, do, talk,

When I feel tired I know I need to rest, finding grace that making 1000 thing in one day is not a healthy lifestyle. You need to prioritize: God, you, family, everything else comes after once all those are checked properly.

I recommend: you watch the videos of Joyce Meyer on Mental Health, read the devotional on bible.com :the seeds of spring and the book of Rick Warren: Purpose drives life

God bless you
